I am Dr. Elder and I am currently working at an inmate treatment program. I am mainly dealing with those inmates who have faced or here in the prison due to various cases of drugs or substance abuse. My job here is to provide them treatment and psychological counseling through verbal communication. This is a therapeutic approach to the inmates as in many cases inmates’ psychological state becomes misbalanced even after getting out from the prisons. It is important to take proper care of the mental health of the inmates as the main agenda of the prisons is to provide a better society and future to everyone and if the inmate are unable to get back in their own previous life then it will be no meaning of treating or counseling them.
